Selecting the Site Climate : Sandalwood thrives in sunny climates with moderate rainfall. Ideal temperatures range from 12°C to 28°C. Soil : Choose well-drained soil, preferably red ferruginous loam. Sandalwood can also grow in sandy soils, red clay soils, and vertisols. The soil pH should be between 6.0 and 7.5 1 . 2. Germinating the Seeds Soaking : Soak the seeds in water for 24 hours.
